Editing stays local by default

When you upload an image in the editor, it is processed in your browser: resized, re-encoded and stripped of EXIF metadata including GPS location. Draft data is stored in your browser's local storage or IndexedDB. Downloading a PNG does not upload your images to our servers.

When images are uploaded

Images leave your device only when you choose Create Share Link and confirm that anyone with the link can view and remix the creation. At that point the processed images and the poster configuration are stored on our infrastructure so the shared page and Remix flow can work.

Who can see a shared creation

Shared pages are not listed in a public gallery and are marked noindex, but they are not private. Anyone with the link can view the creation and make a remix. Do not share a creation you want to keep private.

Retention and deletion

Shared creations are kept for up to 90 days by default. When you create a share link, you also receive a manage link. Keep that link private; it lets you delete the creation from any device. Deleting a creation removes the page and the uploaded images from our storage. Social platforms may keep their own cached preview of a link for some time after deletion.

Analytics and tracking

This launch does not run advertising trackers or cross-site fingerprinting. Basic server logs may record request metadata such as IP address, user agent and timestamps for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic reporting. We do not use uploaded images or character names as analytics dimensions.

To report a shared creation for copyright, harassment or illegal content, use the Report this creation link on the share page or the contact page. Include the share URL and a short description.
